VEGETABLES IN CREAM SAUCE 
2 c. fresh or frozen vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, peas, sm. carrots, etc.)
1 c. water
2/3 c. powdered milk
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper

Cook fresh vegetables in 1 cup water until just done. Drain cooking liquid into a microwave bowl and mix in powdered milk.

In a separate bowl, heat oil for 30 seconds. Stir in flour and heat another 30 seconds until the flour foams. Rapidly stir in the milk/cooking liquid, and cook at 70% power, stirring occasionally, until thickened.

Add the cooked vegetables and reheat.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
