EASY TENDERLOIN 
2 1/2 lbs. trimmed tenderloin beef
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. soy sauce
5 green onions, chopped (incl. green tops)
1 tsp. Dijon - type mustard
Coarsely ground black pepper to taste

Melt butter in small sauce pan. Add remaining ingredients. Pour over tenderloin. Use to baste once or twice during roasting. Place tenderloin in shallow baking dish (buttered). Roast in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes (use meat thermometer for desired doneness). This is for rare to medium rare meat.

Slice to serve. Because we like to use the marinade as a sauce on the table I double or even triple the amounts in the recipe. Mushrooms are also good.
