SUPER BOWL CHILI 
2 t. olive oil
1 large onion- diced
4-5 cloves garlic- minced
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lg. can Italian ground peeled tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste
2 pkgs. powdered taco seasoning
1 t. chili powder
1 t. cumin
1 can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 can chopped chilies
salt and pepper, to taste
grated sharp Cheddar
sour cream (optional)
sliced scallion (optional)

In a large soup pot, sauté onions and garlic in oil until soft. Add ground beef and stir until meat is browned. Add canned tomatoes and seasonings, cover pot, and simmer slowly about 1 hour. Add kidney beans and chilies and cook another 5-10 minutes.

Serve topped with grated cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and scallions. ENJOY!
