3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. cooking oil
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 c. diced bananas

OPTIONAL:

10 chopped cherries and
1/2 c. nuts

Measure dry ingredients and sift together. Dice the bananas; measure the quantity and add to dry ingredients along with oil, vanilla, eggs and pineapple with juice. Blend in; DO NOT BEAT. Pour into tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool in pan.
