COOKIES BARS 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped almonds
1 c. apricot jam

Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the 2 egg yolks. Add the 2 cups of flour. Blend with a wooden spoon. Add the almonds. It forms a thick batter. Spread into an 8 inch square pan. Spread with the apricot jam. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes. Cut while hot.
