TENDER SOUP ROAST & GRAVY 
1 beef roast
1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup plus 1 can water

Mix mushroom soup and water in roasting pan. Sprinkle with onion soup. Place roast on top. cover with lid or aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Turn to 250 degrees and bake for approximately 6 hours.

NOTE: The soup makes the gravy. May need to thicken slightly with cornstarch before serving. Makes less expensive roasts tender.
