STICKIE QUICKIE BUNS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 pkgs. dry yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. raw apple (optional)
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour

FILLING:

3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
1 tbsp. corn syrup (light)
1 tbsp. water

In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast. Heat the milk, butter, sugar and salt until warm. Pour into yeast mixture. Add egg, beat on high speed of mixer for 3 minutes. By hand, stir in 1 3/4 cups flour. Add apple if desired. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. While dough is rising, combine topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool 1 minute and invert.

Recipe may be prepared the night before; cover and refrigerate. Remove from refrigerator before preheating oven. Bake as directed.
