STRAWBERRY 3 LAYER SURPRISE 
LAYER 1:
1 1/2 c. pretzels, crushed into sm. pieces
3/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. sugar

LAYER 2:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip

LAYER 3:
6 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 3/4 c boiling water
1 pt. frozen strawberries & juice or use 1 c. chopped fresh strawberries + 1/2 c. water
1 can crushed pineapple in its own juice

LAYER 1: Cream butter and sugar, add pretzels. Press into bottom of 9" x 13" dish. Bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees; cool. (The surprise, it tastes like nuts!)

LAYER 2: Cream the cream cheese and sugar. Fold in the Cool Whip. Spread on first layer after it has cooled.

LAYER 3: Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until mixture is cold but not set. Pour on top of cream cheese layer. Chill until firm. Cut into squares before serving. Best when freshly made. Keep in refrigerator.
