SWEET AND SOUR SHRIMP 
BATTER FOR SHRIMP:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. accent
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt

RICE:

Fry bites of bacon and onions; add cooked rice and 1 or 2 eggs and fry until brown and dry. Serve with Sweet and Sour sauce.

Batter is for 1 or 1 1/2 pounds shrimp. For fresh shrimp, boil shelled shrimp for 3 minutes in salt water, then de-shell and devein.
