CHOCONUT COOKIES 
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites or 1 whole egg
1 (5 1/8 oz.) pkg. chocolate fudge pudding & pie filling (not instant)
8 oz. sour cream
2 c. all purpose flour
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped pecans
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

In large bowl, combine first 7 ingredients at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

Add to mixture the flour, oats, soda, and salt, mixing at low speed until blended. Then by hand, stir in pecans and chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoon, 2" apart, on greased and floured sheets. Bake 6 to 7 minutes at 375 degrees until set. Cool 1 minute before removing from sheet. Makes 5 to 6 dozen.
