CHOCOLATE BUTTERSWEETS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1 1/4 c. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter. Add vanilla, salt and sugar; cream well. Gradually add flour. Shape by teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Press hole into center of each. Bake 12-15 minutes, until delicately browned. Fill while warm. Cool and frost.

CREAMY NUT FILLING:

3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. flaked coconut

Soften cream cheese. Blend in sifted confectioners' sugar, flour and vanilla; cream well. Stir in walnuts and coconut.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter

Melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat until smooth. Frost cookies.
