CHICKEN OR TUNA CASSEROLE 
4 oz. egg noodles
1 can mushroom soup
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. pimento
3/4 c. peanuts or almonds
1 1/2 to 2 c. diced cooked chicken or tuna
1/4 c. butter bread crumbs or crushed potato chips

Cook noodles according to directions. Combine mushroom soup, milk, salt, onion and pimento. Add peanuts, chicken or tuna and noodles, mixing well until blended. Place in greased casserole, 1 1/2 quart size. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. (If salted peanuts are used, omit the salt.)
