CRUNCHY CABBAGE SALAD 
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. oil
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 flavor packet from Oriental soup mix
1/2 (5 c.) lg. head shredded cabbage
4 chopped green onions
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Oriental Ramen

DRESSING: Mix the flavor packet, sugar, vinegar, oil, and pepper. Refrigerate.

SALAD: Toast sesame seeds and almonds in 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes. Set aside.

Combine cabbage, onions, and uncooked noodles (which have been broken in pieces by hand).

Before serving, add dressing, seeds and almonds. Toss lightly. Serves 10.
