BUTTERHORNS 
3 c. flour
1 c. butter

Mix like a pie crust. 1/2 c. cream (or evaporated milk) 3 tbsp. sugar Pinch of salt 2 eggs

Mix the above in a bowl. Add to flour-butter mixture. Cut dough into 4 parts and roll each ball of dough out like pie crust. Spread with some kind of filling, such as dates, apricots, or brown sugar-butter. Cut dough into 8 wedges and roll each piece individually. Place on greased cookie sheets and let it rise for 40 minutes. Bake in 350 degree oven about 25 minutes. Make a powdered sugar icing and frost butterhorns. Sprinkle frosting with crushed nuts.
