EGG CUSTARD PIE | |
3 c. milk 6 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Pinch of salt Pastry for 9" pie shell Line a pie pan with the pastry. Scald the milk. Mix slightly beaten eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt. Stir milk gradually into egg mixture. Strain into pie shell. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake until a knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean. Cool. |
