SUGARLESS APPLE PIE 
6 med. Red Delicious apples
1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice, thawed
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Use your own crust or the following

CRUST:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. wheat germ
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. boiling water

Peel and slice apples, about 6 cups. Place apples in undiluted apple juice in large pan. Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in small amount of water. Stir into apple mixture, simmer 10 minutes. Add cinnamon. Fill pastry shell, dot with butter.

Prepare crust by stirring together flours, wheat germ and salt. Stir in oil and water. Mix until dry ingredients are moist. Gather into ball and roll out between 2 sheets of wax paper or make your own crust. Cooking time: 45 minutes. Temperature: 350 degrees. Serves: 6 to 8. Pan: 10 inch.
