STRAWBERRY SHORTCUT CAKE | |
1 cup miniature marshmallows 2 cups (two 10 oz. pkg.) frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed 1 3 oz. pkg. strawberry jello 2 1/4 cup flour 1 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup shortening 3 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup milk 3 eggs Grease bottom of 9x13-inch pan; sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan. Combine strawberries and dry jello. Set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Blend at low speed till moist. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Pour over marshmallows in pan. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter. Bake at 350°F for 40-50 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream. |
