FRENCH CONFECTION 
2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. drained crushed pineapple
1 c. whipping cream (add sugar to taste)

Butter an 8 inch square pan.

Layer 1: 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers.

Layer 2: Cream 1 stick butter with mixer, until fluffy. Add 2 eggs and vanilla plus enough powdered sugar to make mixture spread like icing.

Layer 3: 1 cup chopped nuts.

Layer 4: 2 cups drained pineapple.

Layer 5: 1 cup whipped cream.

Layer 6: 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers.

Chill all day or overnight.
