SPLIT PEA SOUP | |
Ham bone, smoked ham hocks, or leftover ham 1 lb. bag split peas 2 qt. water 1 lg. onion 2-3 c. cut up carrots Season to taste Wash and pick over split peas. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. |
