CHERRY PUDDING 
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Combine 1 cup cherries with 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside. Cream 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon oil and 1 egg. Add flour and baking powder and stir. Pour mixture into greased pan. Add sugared cherries. Pour boiling water 3/4 cup over mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
