FAST CHERRY PUDDING 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 can sour cherries
3/4 c. sugar

Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, 1 cup sugar and milk together. Pour mixture over melted butter - do not stir. Pour sour cherries, juice and all, over batter. Do not stir. Sprinkle 3/4 cup sugar over cherries. Do not stir.
