HOLLAND BUTTER CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter, room temp. (butter can be used but not as good)

Knead all ingredients together to make a soft ball (dough will not stick to bowl and fingers). Place and flatten into a 9"x9" greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before removing from pan. Remove from pan by inverting onto a cutting board. Cut into 1" to 1 1/2" squares.
