EASY CARAMELS 
1 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
Dash of salt
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter, add sugar and salt. Blend in syrup. Gradually add milk. When it begins to bubble, turn to medium heat and stir for 12 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into buttered cake pan and cool. Cut into small pieces.
