OLD-FASHION OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 c. firm packed brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
2 tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. cinnamon

Beat together butter, sugars, eggs, water and vanilla until blended. Combine flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Add to mixture and mix well. Stir in oats. Chill dough at least 1 hour. Make small balls and place on cookie sheet.

Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
