STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. instant rice
1 egg, beaten
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce)
1/2 c. catsup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
3 lg. green peppers, cut in half lengthwise
1/3 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar

Microwave: power level, medium high (70%). Total cooking time: 20 to 25 minutes.

Mix together ground beef, rice, egg, onion, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

Arrange green pepper halves in an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4 inch baking dish. Fill with meat mixture. Mix together remaining tomato sauce, water and sugar. Pour over green peppers. Cover with a tight fitting lid or plastic wrap.

Microwave on medium-high (70%) for 20 to 25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and green pepper is tender. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving. Yields 4 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
