POTATO BAKE 
1/2 c. sweet cream butter, sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 med. red (or baking) potatoes (washed and peeled) cut into 1/8 inch thick slices
3 tbsp. grated (fresh) Romano or Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In ungreased 9x12 inch baking dish melt butter in oven. Stir in salt and pepper. Next, stir in potatoes until coated with butter. Cover with foil; bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese. Continue baking uncovered for 20- 30 minutes until crisply tender.
