CREME DE MENTHE HOLIDAY CAKE 
1 box white cake mix
1 lg. carton Cool Whip (16 oz.), at room temp.
1 can chocolate frosting
1/2 c. creme de menthe

Prepare cake mix according to directions. Bake in two 8 inch round cake pans. Allow cake to cool 15 minutes and remove from pans.

When cakes are cooled frost top and sides of one layer. Top with second layer and frost top and sides.

Stir creme de menthe into Cool Whip. Frost top and sides of cake with Cool Whip frosting. Sprinkle top of cake with red and green sugar crystals if desired. Can be served immediately. Serves 8-10 people.
