PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. peanut butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped (if desired)

Sift blended dry ingredients. In large mixing bowl, blend peanut butter and egg. Stir in half of the milk. Add half of the dry ingredients. Repeat. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop tablespoon of dough about 2 inches apart onto a well-greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven until cookie edges are lightly browned, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove at once from sheet. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
