SALLIE SCOTT'S YEAST ROLLS 
2 c. milk, scalded
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 pkg. yeast in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 c. flour

Mix shortening in the milk. Beat eggs lightly and add to the milk after it has cooled. Sift and measure flour, add sugar and salt to flour, then mix well in the flour mixture. Add yeast to the milk mixture and mix about 1 hour in warm place. Make rolls and let rise again. Bake in hot oven, about 400 degrees. Makes 3 dozen rolls or more, according to size.
