SHORTCUT HUMMUS (DIP) 
1 (1 lb.) can chick peas (garbanzo beans)
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. oil
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. iodized salt
Paprika (optional)
Olive oil (optional)

Drain juice from can of chick peas, saving juice. Put chick peas into blender container with half the drained juice. Add lemon juice, oil, garlic, and salt. Blend until smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
