STUFFED MUSHROOMS | |
24 medium mushrooms 1/4 c. green onions 1 clove of garlic 1/4 c. melted butter 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. basil 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese Wash and dry mushrooms. Remove stems from mushroom caps. Place mushroom caps in a greased 8 X 8-inch baking dish. Sauté mushroom stems, onion and garlic in butter for about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients except mozzarella cheese. Divide stuffing mixture evenly among mushroom caps. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until hot. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake until cheese is melted (5 minutes). |
