STRAWBERRY JAM BARS
1 stick butter
1 (12 oz.) pkg. white morsels
2 large eggs
1/2 c. seedless strawberry jam
1/4 c. toasted pecans
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Grease and sugar 9-inch square pan. Preheat oven to 325°F.

Melt butter in microwave; stir. Add 1 cup morsels; let stand. Do not stir. Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar. Beat until a light lemon color. Stir in morsel-butter mixture. Add flour and vanilla. Mix at low speed until combined. Spread 2/3 batter into pan.

Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until light golden brown around edges. Remove from oven. Heat jam in a microwave for about 30 seconds; stir. Spread jam over warm crust. Stir remaining morsels into remaining batter. Drop spoonfuls of batter over jam. Sprinkle with pecans.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
