2 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 large onion, sliced
3/4 to 1 stick butter
salt

Using a 2 qt. casserole dish, layer potatoes and onions. Slice butter over top and sprinkle with salt. Cook about 15 minutes in microwave. Turn or stir lightly and cook 15 minutes more or until done. Time may vary.
