SOUR DOUGH STARTER 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. warm water
2 1/2 tbsp. all purpose flour

Mix yeast with 1/2 cup water. Mix sugar with 2 cups water and flour, add yeast. Let stand 5 days in glass jar. Put in refrigerator for 3- 5 days, then feed.

FEED:

3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. instant potatoes
1 c. warm water

Mix well before adding to starter. Let stand at room temperature all day, 8-12 hours. Pour off one cup to use in making bread and return remainder to the refrigerator. Feed again in 3-5 days. If not making bread, give away one cup or pour it out.
