SOUR DOUGH STARTER 
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. flour, plain
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. sugar
2 c. warm water

Add to starter: 1 c. plain flour 1 c. milk

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Combine flour, salt, sugar in a non metal bowl, mix well, add yeast and 2 cups warm water. Cover loosely with plastic wrap, let stand 72 hours, stirring 2 to 3 times a day. Then place in refrigerator use some and replenish in about 11 days. Each time some is used, you must feed the starter with 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup plain flour and 1 cup milk. Stir well and refrigerate again.
