LYNETTE & JENNIFER'S CHICKEN
SOUP
 
2 cans chicken broth
1 lb. cooked chicken, cut up
1 c. celery, cut up
2 carrots, diced
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. barbecue powder (or charcoal seasoning)
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. onion powder

Put all ingredients in a large pan and cook on medium-low for 20 minutes. NOTE: Lynette is my 10 year old granddaughter and her friend Jennifer is 11. They were "starving" late one night and there was nothing they wanted in the house. They made this soup, having never done it before, asked for no help at all, and made up the recipe as they went along. It was delicious. They have a great future in the kitchen. (P.S. I would have added peas, but they don't like them.!)
