CAJUN CORNBREAD 
1 c. yellow cornmeal
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1 can cream style corn
1/2 c. bacon drippings

Mix; let stand.

1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
4 hot peppers, chopped

Grease large skillet. Sprinkle in meal and brown. Pour in 1/2 of batter. Sprinkle cheese, then meat, onions, pepper and rest of batter on top. Cook 50 minutes at 300 degrees.
