CHICKEN TORTILLA CASSEROLE | |
1 (2 to 3 lb.) chicken, boiled, boned and cut up 1 pkg. corn tortillas, soaked in chicken broth 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 tsp. chili powder garlic salt to taste 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 (4 oz.) can tomatoes and green chilies 1/2 lb. grated mild Cheddar cheese Line greased casserole dish with tortillas which have been soaked in broth. Add chicken. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken, reserving some of the cheese to sprinkle on top. Bake in 350°F oven for about 30 to 35 minutes. Makes a large casserole. Freezes well. |
