RHUBARB CAKE DESSERT | |
1 c. butter 2 tbsp. sugar 2 c. flour 4 tbsp. flour 6 egg yolks 1 c. sugar 1 c. Pet milk 5 c. cubed rhubarb Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter - combine first set of flour and sugar. Stir in melted butter. Pat into bottom of 9 x l3 pan. Bake 10 minutes. Mix the next 4 ingredients together, stir in rhubarb. Pour over the baked crust. Bake 40 - 45 minutes. MERINGUE: 6 egg whites 2 tsp. vanilla 12 tbsp. sugar Beat egg whites, slowly add sugar, then stir in vanilla. Spoon over cake and bake until brown. |
