CREAM CHEESE FUDGE 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. cream or milk
4 c. confectioners' sugar
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. rum, optional
Dash salt
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional

Beat cheese and cream until smooth. Gradually beat in sugar; then blend in chocolate. Stir in vanilla, rum, salt and 1 cup nuts. Press into lightly buttered square pan and cover with remaining nuts. Mark in 64 pieces about 1 inch square and chill until firm enough to cut, about 15 minutes. Makes 1 pound.
