BEEFY RICE | |
1/2 stick butter 1 med. onion, chopped 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef consomme soup 1 c. raw rice 1 can of water Oven, 375 degrees. Saute onion in butter in bottom of medium size baking dish. Add uncooked rice and consomme. Pour can of warm water over all. Bake at 375 to 400 degrees for about 45 minutes or until rice has absorbed all liquid and is lightly browned on top. Serves 6 or more. |
