BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 bunches fresh broccoli
1 med. purple onion or Vidalia onion
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
1 lb. bacon, fried crisp & drained

Cut off broccoli florets and place in large salad bowl. Crumble cool bacon into bowl. Chop onion and add. Grate cheddar cheese and add.

DRESSING:

2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sugar

Mix ingredients and pour over salad, stirring to coat evenly.
