CAKES IN A PUNCH BOWL 
1 yellow, white or angel food cake mix
5 c. milk
3 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1-2 qt. strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced
20 oz. can pineapple (crushed or tidbits)
12 oz. container Cool Whip
3 bananas
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Bake cake according to package instructions in 9x13 inch pan. Cool cake. Cut cake into bite-size pieces (cubes). Place cake cubes in punch bowl. Mix milk with pudding and pour over cake cubes. Layer sliced strawberries over the pudding, then layer sliced bananas on top of the strawberries. Drain pineapple and spread over the top of the bananas. Spread Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Refrigerate. Serves many. Great for a gathering.
