CHIOURICO SOUP (PORTUGUESE SOUP) 
1 beef soup bone
3 chopped onions
1 minced clove garlic
1 lb. chiourico, chopped
A bunch of kale
3 to 4 potatoes, cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
2 1/2 qt. water or beef broth
1 c. macaroni

Combine all ingredients except macaroni and simmer for 4 hours. Half hour before serving, add the macaroni and shred the beef from the soup bone. Serves 6 to 8 people.
