STRAWBERRY PRESERVE 
2 qt. strawberries
9 c. sugar
1 c. water

Hull and wash berries before measuring. Put sugar and water in large pan stir and boil until sugar is well dissolved. Add strawberries, boil 15 minutes (rolling boil do not stir, but shake pan while cooking skim, pour into flat pan, shake occasionally until cool. Put in jars and seal.) Do not cook more than 2 quarts at a time.
