BEEF AND MACARONI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni 2 c. water 1 sm. green pepper, chopped 1 (11 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas In a 10 inch skillet cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is light brown; drain. Stir in macaroni, water, green pepper, soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Heat to a boiling point. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes; stir occasionally. Rinse frozen peas to separate; drain. Stir peas into beef mixture. Simmer uncovered until tender, about 5 minutes. |
