YUM YUMS 
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

2 egg whites
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 c. pecan pieces

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and sifted dry ingredients. Blend in vanilla. Press in pan.

TOPPING: Beat egg whites until stiff, add sugar gradually. Stir in vanilla, salt and nuts. Spread over mixture in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 30 minutes. Cut when cool. Yields 20.
