BROWNIE PUDDING CAKE 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. oil
3/4 c. walnuts or pecans
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot tap water

Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, salt, baking powder, milk, vanilla and oil in bowl. Pour into greased 8x8 inch pan.

Combine nuts, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa in bowl. Add hot (almost boiling) water to nut mixture. Pour over chocolate layer in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cake rises to top with pudding under it.
