MOM'S OLE' TIME FUDGE 
2 c. sugar
1 pinch salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Mix dry ingredients in boiling pot. Add milk and cook on low heat until hard ball stage. Remove and add butter, vanilla and pecans. Pour into buttered pie plate. Let sit until you can cut with knife.
