MARINARA SAUCE 
1 c. diced onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 stick butter
1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can tomato puree
Italian seasoning
1 tbsp. basil
1 tbsp. sugar
Salt & pepper

Saute onion and garlic in butter, when transparent add crushed tomatoes and puree. Cook until the consistency you like, add rest of ingredients.
